DR. SHELDON WINKLER
Executive Director
DR. SHELDON WINKLER is Professor Emeritus at Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served previously as Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Prosthodontics and Dean of Research, Advanced Education, and Continuing Education at the School of Dentistry. Dr. Winkler is an educator, author, editor, researcher, and national and international speaker on prosthodontics, implant dentistry, dental materials, and geriatric dentistry. He founded the journal Implant Dentistry, which he edited for six years, and is currently Senior Editor of the Journal of Oral Implantology. Dr. Winkler’s textbook, Essentials of Complete Denture Prosthodontics, now in its third edition, has been one of the most popular and widely used dental textbooks in the world and is well established as a standard reference. An authority on music of the Second World War, Dr. Winkler has contributed articles to World War II History magazine, and authored The Music of World War II: War Songs and their Stories, which is published by Merriam Press and now in its third edition.

DR. MIKE SHULMAN received his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry in 1993. He graduated from the Latvia Medical Academy, Riga, Latvia, in 1985, and completed his postgraduate training in oral surgery the following year at the Latvia Medical Academy. Dr. Shulman has lectured nationally and internationally on oral implantol
DR. MIKE SHULMAN received his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry in 1993. He graduated from the Latvia Medical Academy, Riga, Latvia, in 1985, and completed his postgraduate training in oral surgery the following year at the Latvia Medical Academy. Dr. Shulman has lectured nationally and internationally on oral implantology and presented a large number of implant continuing education courses throughout the world. He is the founder of Atlantic Dental Implant Seminars (ADIS) and formal director of the Linkow Implant Institute of the Caribbean (LIIOC). Dr. Shulman is a formal Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Dental Sciences, University of Technology, Jamaica, and a Master of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. He has published (authored and co-authored) over 10 articles in dental journals and maintained a private dental practices in New Jersey for over 25 years.

Dr. Virgil Mongalo is a pioneer in the field of implant dentistry, having placed over 20,000 implants since opening his private office in South Florida in 1991. Dr. Mongalo spends his professional time travelling to Nicaragua and Mexico where he trains USA and Canadian dentists how to perform implant surgeries on underprivileged population as part of a Catholic Dental outreach program.

Dr. Braun is also a visiting professor at the University of Wisconsin, Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Braun completed a fellowship in the Department of Medical Genetics at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He teaches, practices and publishes within the discipline of radiology and oral medicine, and is a contributing author for the textbook Burkett’s Oral Medicine. He is a Master of AAIP.

Throughout the years Dr. Dal Carlo has lectured at dental society meetings around the world as a presenter and demonstrator.
